Jonathan Guevara, MD

Dr. Jonathan Guevara is an orthopedic surgeon in Fort Worth and Weatherford. He specializes in arthroscopic and open surgery of all shoulder and elbow conditions and strives to develop strong partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible results.

A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. Guevara completed medical school at The University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio. He completed orthopedic surgery residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri. His passion for advanced training in shoulder and elbow conditions led him to pursue a fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.

He has a special interest in all aspects of shoulder and elbow conditions and treats both adult and pediatric patients for tendon disorders and injuries including arthritis, birth and obstetric related problems, fractures, dislocations, separations, sports injuries, instability and trauma. He is particularly interested in the complex problems encountered in shoulder and elbow surgery including failed prior surgeries, dysplasia, overhead athletes, unrepairable tendons, bone loss and infections.
