Katherine Kane, MD

Dr. Katherine Kane is a vascular surgeon serving patients from offices in Fort Worth and Cleburne. 

Dr. Kane received her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Hampton University, in Hampton, Va., where she graduated summa cum laude. She completed a general surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas/Parkland Memorial Hospital before completing a fellowship in vascular surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.  

Dr. Kane has been published on a range of topics, including peripheral arterial disease (PAD) in Hispanics and African Americans, venous insufficiency, and workforce diversity in vascular surgery programs in the United States. She is a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, Parkland Surgical Society and the National Medical Association. In addition to her board certification for general surgery, Dr. Kane is also a certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support provider.

Dr. Kane is fluent in Spanish and enjoys spending time with her family, running and traveling.
