Martha Guerra, MD

Dr. Martha Guerra is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist providing care to patients in Fort Worth, Texas.  She brings significant experience and an excellent bedside manner to serve the unique needs of all obstetrics and gynecology patients.  

Practicing in Fort Worth since 1998, Dr. Guerra provides patient care for women of all ages.  She specializes in up-to-date treatments for all aspects of a woman’s reproductive health, including well woman exams, pregnancy and delivery, and menopausal treatment and care.  Additional patient services include minimally invasive surgery, such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy; sonograms; infertility work-up; management of pelvic pain; birth control, including Nexplanon and IUD insertion and removals; decreased libido treatment; hormone therapy and more.  

Dr. Guerra graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in biology.  She went on to receive her medical degree from Texas Tech School of Medicine in Lubbock and completed her residency in OB/GYN at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. 

Dr. Guerra was one of the original doctors instrumental in the development and affiliation with the state-of-the-art Paul and Judy Andrews Women’s Hospital in Fort Worth. This connection has given her patients added compassion and quality of care in a beautiful and modern setting.  She enjoys mentoring aspiring doctors and other health care professionals and works to remain at the forefront of medicine through continuing medical education. 

A member of the Tarrant County Medical Society, Dr. Guerra has been voted by her colleagues as one of the Top Doctors in Fort Worth Magazine and voted by her patients as a DFW Child Mom-Approved Doctor.  A dedicated mother, she enjoys spending time with her three children and actively volunteers in her church and community.
