Mickey Hooper, DO

Dr. Mickey Hooper is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with offices in Fort Worth and Haltom City.  

Drawn to the field of medicine due to her love of science and people, Dr. Hooper especially wanted to focus on helping girls and women of all ages with their wellness and health care needs, which is why she became an OB/GYN.  “I love delivering babies!” she says.  

“I will work with my patient to choose what is right for her,” Dr. Hooper says.  “I pray with my patients and help them navigate health care challenges.”  

In addition to caring for her patients at her practice, Dr. Hooper serves as an assistant professor at the TCU School of Medicine and volunteers at Flourishing Tree, a local pregnancy help center in Aledo.  She is also looking forward to working with the new residency program at Andrews Women’s Hospital at Baylor Scott & White in Fort Worth.  

Dr. Hooper received her undergraduate degree from Texas Wesleyan University and her doctorate of osteopathy from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, where she also completed her residency.  

Married for more than 30 years, Dr. Hooper has one daughter and a grandson.  Her family has been in Fort Worth for six generations, and Dr. Hooper loves to volunteer with her hometown’s signature event, the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
