Dr. Ryan Balogh is a trauma and general surgeon based at Baylor Scott & White Grapevine.
Dr. Balogh received his undergraduate degree from Springhill College in Mobile, AL before earning his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He completed his residency, as well as a critical care fellowship, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Balogh uses his advanced surgical skills to care for patients who have experienced physical trauma. He is a recipient of the Acute Care and Trauma Surgery Fireman Award and the Baylor Scott & White Research Award.
Drawn to the practice of medicine by his desire to help people, Dr. Balogh finds trauma and critical care surgery especially rewarding because he can “treat patients from start to finish.” He is knowledgeable and experienced in various surgical procedures and is equipped to manage many different types of injuries and illnesses.
Dr. Balogh is married with two children. He enjoys traveling, hiking and any other type of outdoor activity.
